White is universally flattering the way that black is. It’s easily one of my favorite color palettes when it comes to wardrobe. I can’t get enough of it. From blouses, to peplums, t-shirts, jeans and my most favorite of all, dresses. Personally, I like wearing white to look innocent {wink}…joking aside, it’s kind of killing me inside that August is here and we don’t have that much time left to wear our beloved summer whites. There’s that “rule” about not wearing white after Labor Day, but pppsssshhhhhttttt!!! Most people don’t acknowledge that it’s not really a hard and fast rule anymore these days, but I’m in the know, so yea…you’ll see me in white after Labor Day.

Real talk…I haven’t really been a fan of the boyfriend jeans. In my opinion, jeans should fit like a glove, and when it comes to buying the right pair, I’ve been loyal to Express for the last few years when it comes to white jeans. They fit just right, but you know how it is with white jeans…I always seem to need a new pair every year. They’re on sale here now….grab a few!!

I’ll be wearing my beloved summer whites as much as I can this month. And I’ve never really been one to follow rules, so you’ll definitely see me wearing white in the coming months (thank goodness for winter white….yes, it’s a thing).
Besides, rules were made to be broken.
