Remember that time when I did a Social Media Cleanse and unplugged from social for a while last year, while I worked towards getting a new job? Well, that job had me so insanely busy, that the last time I wrote a blog post was a little over a year ago. That being said, I no longer have aforementioned new job, because well, 2020 has been a total shit show. So I figured I’d share some 2019 highlights from that time I was on my social media hiatus – the lost files for inquiring minds.
Ok so, yes, I was productive and all during my social media cleanse, but I was busy just living life and being me. Not to mention (OR, to just go ahead and mention, because I’m totally mentioning it), I was a rockstar mom, wife, etc.
I present to you, the lost files of 2019.
Sent my son to a soccer camp in Connecticut for a week with his cousin.
Had some beach time with my mama and the two youngest in our clan.
Sent my son to a video making camp with his other cousin.
Went camping, did some hiking, made some smores…
Went to Utah to see our friends.
They have an in-ground trampoline! I mean, hello!
I just had to…
Hiked in some serious 100 degree weather with my little family – Arches National Park, while me and E were just trying to find shade for a minute.
Had some bubbly in Aspen, along with the BEST fish of my life. This is not an exaggeration. If you’re ever going to Aspen, hit me up and I’ll give you the deets. It’s a MUST have!
My son started 5th freakin’ grade!!! Caveat: that was in 2019. He’s in 6th grade now in 2020….
He scored 3 goals in his first soccer academy game (this is called a hat trick, which I did not know…you learn something new everyday)…
2nd Caveat: He is no longer in the Future Soccer Academy but still continues to play on his other soccer team coached by my hubby, and still has hat tricks in a game from time to time…
I am forever his #1 fan #soccermom
I had a 12 year anniversary, a 43rd birthday (multiple celebrations…you know how I do lol).
Enjoyed my favorite fall season, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and winter, although it wasn’t much of a true East Coast winter last year…global warming is so real…
