Hi! Get to know a little about me here. My name is Karen Edgar, a first generation Latina, whose parents are from Ecuador. I was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, and was always that little girl in dresses playing outside and getting dirty until the sun went down. In my 20s, I moved to Hell’s Kitchen NYC and worked at MTV and VH1 for a few years. All my life, I dated Latinos but then I met a sweet blanquito during my VH1 days, and the rest as they say, is history.
I went from Karen Mora to Karen Edgar.
To get a little more personal, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005. I actually started this blog in January 2016 after having my most recent flare up which kept me at home recuperating for a month. Believe it or not, it was my son, six at the time, who inspired me to go for it. I needed to come back strong from that flare up and find something that was just for me. A space where I could express my passion every day, and find happiness outside of my family. I’ve always found so much joy in fashion, food, travel and my very own lifestyle…so Karen Ever After was born.
I’ve been blogging for almost 2 years now. Through my journey, I feel confident that I’ve finally pinpointed exactly what my niche is. I love to collaborate with brands who are empowering women or with fashion brands that are doing good in the world by donating a portion of their proceeds to a charitable donation. I feel great about doing my part to try and make this world a better place and supporting fashion that does good.
If you want to know more, please feel free to reach out to me anytime. I would love to hear from you.
Thanks for visiting!
